ZIPP 3ZERO MOTO 29" BOOST Wheelset

Engineers at ZIPP have always drawn inspiration from the legendary Indianapolis Motor Speedway, and this inspiration was utilized for the new Zipp 3ZERO MOTO wheels, modeled after wheels used in motorcycle racing. Unlike the trend in recent years, ZIPP's first frame for the MTB sector features a flat single-wall design. Dubbed ZIPP Moto Technology, this structure allows the carbon rim of the 3ZERO to easily rotate outside under high loads and escape the effects of forces on the ground, reducing the occurrence of punctures in aggressive rides on rocky trails.

Moto technology also provides more grip in fast corners by slightly "detaching" the wheel, allowing for a better contact patch of the tire. The 3ZERO MOTO wheel is more flexible in the vertical direction than traditional wheels, creating a sensation of additional suspension on the road. This reduces the forces acting on the rider, preserving energy reserves during long days in the bike park. Ensuring the durability of the wheels, ZIPP offers a lifetime warranty to the original invoice holder. With special features and a 30mm inner width, the Moto wheel is particularly aimed at E-MTB, enduro, and mountain bikers who truly want to descend.

The wheels are produced with Sapim CX-Sprint spokes and ZIPP's in-house ZM2 hubs developed in Germany. The new freehub has 12 offset pawls and 132 engagement points, providing a responsive start with almost no play. The enhanced seal design also increases the durability of the hubs. The wheels are approved for E-MTB use!
